1. Acting seems to be a family thing as she is from a long line of great actors

Even though Sydney didn’t consider going into acting seriously until she got to high school, probably due to her shy demeanor, it appears that acting had already chosen her. Several of her family members have had successful acting careers which might have rubbed off on her one way or the other. Her late grandfather – Jack Lemmon was nominated for the Academy Award 8 times, winning twice, and starred in over 60 films in the course of his illustrious career. Also, her late grandmother – Cynthia Stone was an actress, her father – Chris Lemmon is an actor, and even her brother – Jon Lemmon is also an actor.

From the foregoing, it’s apparent that her career path was already laid out from the beginning and she didn’t disappoint in carrying on the family legacy. Since she started acting in 2014, Sydney has featured in 10 roles, including movies and television series. She made her Broadway debut in 2018 as a cast member in the play The Parisian Woman.
