Known as Caro, Caroline Viehweg is a reality television star who gained popularity from her appearance on the first edition of Love Island which premiered on CBS on the 9th of July 2019. Since then, the TV star has broken new frontiers and is currently making waves on social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and the likes.

Caroline Viehweg is of German and Brazilian descent

Though her place of birth is still under scrutiny, the records have revealed that Caroline Viehweg was born on the 26th of December 1997. There is no clue regarding the identities of her parents and siblings but the reality television star is said to be of both German and Brazilian descent with fluency in three languages namely, English, Portuguese, and German.

Caro, as she is fondly called, has spent her life moving from one country to another. At the last count, she had touched down in six countries, including Brazil, Germany, South Africa, Sweden, Canada, and the United States of America.

Nothing much is known about her academic history but going by what we could find, she was studying in Canada at the John Casablancas Institute Vancouver as a fashion marketing student but left in 2017, moving to Los Angeles California where she is currently residing. When Arielle Vandenberg, the gorgeous host of the reality television show, Love Island introduced the 11 contestants for the premiere edition of the show on the 9th of July 2019, Caroline “Caro” Viehweg was among the six females. These ladies were set to find love with the five males on the show and anybody that fails will be shipped off the show.

Right there on the beach of the exotic country of Fiji, Caro faced stiff competition in the brand new matchmaking television show. However, she only emerged in third place as contestant Zac Mirabelli was declared the winner with Alexandra Stewart and Dylan Curry emerging in the runner-up positions.

After its successful premiere run, Love Island went on to become one of the sought-after reality television series as young hopefuls flock Fiji in search of love. You can say that the expectation of these youngsters and fans are always sky high when they storm Majorca. Though Love Island is Caroline Viehweg’s first appearance on television, the reality star is fast creating a niche for herself on other channels like social media and her face is equally gaining popularity in the TV industry.

Caroline Viehweg is active on Instagram

As earlier mentioned, Caro has gone ahead to widen her horizon on social media platforms. An instance is Instagram where she can boast of two accounts. Her main IG account @caroviee has amassed more than 244,000 followers and still counting. She has leveraged her Insta Stories to embrace her body scars, encouraging others to come up and share the stories behind their own scars instead of hiding them. According to the reality star, people shouldn’t hide their scars but should wear them as proof of the healing power of God. In another IG post, Caro urged fans to trace her chest scar with their fingers and that is exactly where to find her strength.

Caro’s second Instagram account is called Women Prosper which she leverages in posting inspirational and motivating quotes. There is a Twitter account under her name but she hasn’t tweeted since December 2017. Meanwhile, most of the reality TV star’s social media work is done on YouTube and Instagram.

She documents her journey on YouTube

Caroline Viehweg’s account on YouTube is mainly for vlogging, hauls, and tutorials. The channels which have recorded over 4,200 subscribers have come in handy for sharing her fitness tutorials. The reality TV star also created a couple of YouTube videos to talk about her journey with lung tumors.

In part one of the videos, she consulted the doctor about a suspected lung infection in April 2016. Her symptoms were stabbing pain in the chest area and difficulty in breathing. However, 18 long hours of medical exams, scans, and tests revealed it to be a tumor in her lung.

Part two of the video was rather scary as she revealed the horror tale of her anesthetic that ceased to work during the investigation of her tumor. This part also chronicled the tumor removal in a four-hour operation process that turned out to be a huge success!

This is how her scars became public knowledge

When she first showed up on Love Island, Caro’s good looks, intellect, and bubbly personality soon had people wondering about her. The reality show being the kind of show that revealed a lot of skin as the contestants were forever in their swimwear in the villa just lounging and tanning, the scar on Caro’s chest and stomach soon became a topic of discussion.

It soon came to the fore that she had a lung tumor removed in 2016 as an 18-year-old girl taking her International Baccalaureate (IB) exams finals. This was revealed in an IG post on the 10th of March 2018.

According to the reality star, it was a 4 to 6-inch (10-15cm-wide) teratoma tumor lying between her lungs which was removed through a surgical procedure in 2016. It was the surgery that left her with a long chest scar.

She has been spotted with different men on social media

Though Caroline Viehweg has been spotted with different guys on the picture-sharing platform, she is yet to reveal the identity of the man in her life. However, the reality star gave fans an insight into what she expects in a man. Her image of a life partner is someone who is friendly, hard-working, spiritual, authentic, funny, and loving.

In addition, Caro equally expects her man to have intelligence and must be endowed in the height department. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is the epitome of her ideal man and according to the social media influencer, she currently prefers men.
