Jordan Johnson-Hinds is Canadian by nationality and was born on the 1st of November 1989, in Ontario Canada. Jordan’s physical appearance is a straight giveaway of his African background. His parents are not known but it is public knowledge that they got separated while Jordan was still in his formative years. Thus, the movie star had to share his childhood between his dad and mom who have each moved on with their lives. Also, it is not known whether he is an only child or grew up with siblings. The actor spent a better part of his growing-up years in Ontario before going to the United States for the first time as a high school student.

He was getting acting roles while still a student

His earliest academic qualifications were achieved at St. Sylvester Catholic Elementary School following which the Canadian proceeded to Libermann Catholic High School. Right from his junior high school days, Jordan already knew that he was heading for a career in entertainment, thus, commenced steps towards achieving this dream. As a student of Libermann, the emerging actor still took time to take acting courses from a talent agency. When it was time for his senior year, Jordan Johnson-Hinds joined Blessed Mother Teresa Catholic Secondary School where he got involved in dramatic activities for the school, including hosting school events, and talent hunts. At the end of his studies, he graduated with an award in drama.

Jordan’s high school days were quite eventful as the then up-and-coming star was making repeated trips to the United States where he spent quality time in Los Angeles, California. His early days in LA involved visiting studios, attending comedy shows, watching documentaries, meeting people from the entertainment industry, and observing behind-the-scenes clips. It is believed that Jordan has family members who are part of the movie world which gave him a head start, as well as the privilege to meet a good number of A-listers in the industry.

After he was done with high school, Jordan joined George Brown College to complete a course in Performing Arts that lasted for only one year. This was the time he was seen in adverts and landed television guest-starring roles in shows like The Jon Dore Television Show and Life with Derek.

What we know about his parents

His parents hardly share the spotlight with him but growing up, the actor had to split his time between his mother and father as they are separated. He often talks about how his dad helped shape him into the man he is today. According to the actor, his father, identified as Neville Hinds, gave him a hard time in his formative years but he has come to see how all that was in his best interest.

Talking about his father, Johnson-Hinds said:

“My hero is my father. He raised two stubborn ass kids in a society where it’s so easy to fall off the right path. Even though I made mistakes he was and is always there for me to bring me back. I now realize every lecture, every party he never let me go to, ringing off my phone, and bothering the crap out of me was all for a reason. And for that, Mr. Neville Hinds, I genuinely thank you. I love you pops!”
On the other hand, information about his mother is not available but it is believed that she also played a pivotal role in raising him.

Personal life of Jordan Johnson-Hinds

From what is obvious, it is only Jordan Johnson-Hinds’s professional life that is in the public eye as the actor does his best to keep the details of his personal life shrouded in secrecy. Thus, nothing is known about the women that have passed through his life. However, the movie and television actor has been rumored to be an item with Hailey Kissee; this assumption was drawn because of the pictures he posted on the picture-sharing platform, Instagram.

Jordan has a presence on Instagram where he has a few thousand followers but the account is set as private. This is the most likely reason for the lack of information about his love life and what he is up to these days.
