She has appeared in about 34 different television series over the years, the first of which was in 2002. Her first recorded role was as a guest on Dawson’s Creek’s 2002 season finale. She upgraded her act with a recurring role on the American medical drama 3 LBS which aired in 2006 on CBS.

In 2007, she joined the cast made up of four actors in the US premiere productions of The 39 Steps and appeared in the stage adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock. Jennifer Ferrin was seen on Life On Mars (the American version) in 2008 where she played Rose Tyler, Detective Sam Tyler’s mother.

Her role as Dana Faraday in The Cape started in January 2011 and around the same time, she appeared in two episodes of Royal Pains. Ferrin also had a stint as a recurring character named Molly on The Following.
