Stephanie Corneliussen is one of the actresses featured in Mr. Robot – the US Network drama–thriller TV series in 2015. Though she has graced the screen in quite a good number of productions before Mr.Robot, the TV series has remained her best-known role to date. Stephanie was born in her home country of Denmark but immigrated to the United Kingdom and later to the United States of America with the passing years. She started her career with modeling gigs and later moved into acting and has been recording remarkable success on both the big and small screens.

Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, actress Stephanie Corneliussen’s date of birth is recorded as the 28th of April 1987. Her parents’ identities have remained a mystery to date but it is public knowledge that the Danish star grew up under the strict watch of her grandmother who played a big role in her foray into acting. Steph’s grandma accomplished this by feeding the youngster with fairy fiction by Hans Christian Andersen – the famous Danish writer.

She laid a solid foundation for her education at Johannesskolen in Frederiksberg. Going back to her hometown, Copenhagen, Corneliussen joined a ballet class. Though the name of her tertiary institution has never been mentioned, the actress is a degree holder majoring in graphic design.

Her early career gigs were recorded in modeling

Stephanie Corneliussen had just turned 13 when she was discovered;  this happened when the Friis Mikkelsen orchestrated Supermodel of Scandinavia contest was approaching; the teenager was encouraged to enter. The contest was organized under the auspices of a Copenhagen-based international modeling agency named Unique Models with Friis Mikkelsen as its chief executive officer.

Corneliussen emerged the winner in the context, marking the onset of her international modeling career. It goes without saying that the Danish beauty was still a student at 13, and consequently, she had to juggle both education and a modeling career. She was studying in the UK as of 2007 but relocated to California, LA, to be precise in 2011. Eventually, we saw the teenage star gracing the pages of A-list magazines such as Vanity Fair, GQ, Vogue, and a whole lot more. Corneliussen’s modeling career equally led her to score some lucrative endorsements with the likes of Armani, Bebe, Nikon, Lexus, and Dasani.

Before venturing into the television series arena, Stephanie Corneliussen made her acting debut in the movie Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters in an uncredited role as Desert Witch in 2013. Her TV debut was accomplished on the set of The Rebels in 2014, giving expression to the character of Gorgeous Intern Ashley. Before the year ran out, the Danish native appeared as Sloane Lerner in Royal Pains – a medical drama showing on the USA Network. She also played Tatiana in Emmy Award-nominated television film entitled Hello Ladies on HBO the same year.

In 2015, she recorded a couple of credits in The Exes, a TV Land sitcom as Nadia, and as Appolonia in Bad Judge, the NBC sitcom. American Horror Story is an American anthology horror TV series that cast Stephanie as the “White Nun”.

Stephanie Corneliussen’s best-known role to date is playing the recurring role of Joanna Wellick on the set of Mr. Robot – the US Network drama–thriller TV series in 2015. Since the pilot premiered on the 27th of May 2015, it has been well received by the viewing public. Apart from receiving critical acclaim, the TV series has become a nominee for multiple awards, emerging as the winner of the Golden Globe Award in the category of Best Television Series – Drama in 2015.

In September 2015, she joined the cast of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow as Valentina Vostok. 2016 was when she appeared in Deception and in 2019, the actress showed up in Legion as Gabrielle Haller. She is now part of The Bride – a movie by Screen Gems.

However, the actress seems to be seriously involved in a relationship and already has a child with her current spouse
