Jasmin Geljo, a Bosnian-Canadian actor, welcomed his son Filip Geljo on April 13, 2002. The young actor was born in the city of Toronto, Canada, but the identity of his mother is not yet known. With the attention the children’s live-action series attracted, the stars were propelled to prominence and the franchise went ahead to create Odd Squad: The Movie. Released on August 1, 2016, Filip reprised his role as Otto in the movie which has J.J. Johnson as the director. Filip’s father is a Bosnian-Canadian actor born in Sarajevo, PR Bosnia-Herzegovina, FPR Yugoslavia, on September 18, 1959. He grew up in his home country and started acting there at the age of 11 with a debut appearance in Boy with a Violin. For his education, Jasmin attended the University of Sarajevo’s Academy of Dramatic Arts where he majored in Drama. While in college, he continued to land more acting roles, growing his career in the process.

In 1993, Geljo left Yugoslavia and settled in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where his career in the performing arts continued. His career has also grown to include film production. He is best known for his performances in films like Cube Zero, Land of the Dead, Assault on Precinct 13, and The Sentinel. The role he played alongside his son in The Waiting Room earned him a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Actor.
