TLC has done a lot to highlight little people’s lives through several shows such as Little People, Big World, The Little Couple, and 7 Little Johnstons. All these TV series had lots of viewers tuning in to watch, showing that people are genuinely interested in such content. The aforementioned series mainly provided a sneak peek into the lives of little people and were still able to generate a remarkable amount of viewers. Following the level of interest in such reality shows, TLC decided to bring to the table, My Little Life, a show that would provide viewers with an in-depth insight into the lives of little people from different places and backgrounds.

What is My Little Life all about?
The plot of My Little Life follows the daily lives of five major characters trying to fit into the world of adulthood, as well as a society that is not tailored for their size. The lead characters are introduced to the audience in the first episode and by the second episode, Lee is already attracted to Bailey who is not a little person. Diane considers having children and Michelle sets to work. Vince on the other hand has the consent of his family to begin dating.
As subsequent episodes unfold, Lee and Bailey are embroiled in a row and Diane gets a double-blind date. Timberlee makes a trip to her hometown. Diane is worried about being fit to carry a pregnancy because of her size and decides to consult a fertility specialist while Michelle has her debut art exhibit. The next episode has the stars learning hard truths about their personalities at the Little People of America Convention. Timberlee informs her family of her decision to move and Lee has become obsessed with Bailey. Diane’s parents learn of her wish to become a mother.
My Little Life basically revolves around the lives of people suffering from dwarfism as they struggle to catch up in a world that often forgets that they exist. Other people of normal size who have one connection or the other to these little people also make it on the show.
Was My Little Life canceled?
My Little Life premiered in 2018 on TLC and had a compelling storyline that left viewers enthralled. The first six episodes of the show were action-packed and seemed to reveal something new about the characters and their unique interests and desires. The first season ended on a high note with intense suspense. Much of what was revealed about the characters was left unresolved, leaving viewers looking forward to subsequent episodes. With such high anticipation for answers, the hope of having a Season 2 of My Little Life is still very much alive in fans of the reality show.
