Mary’s husband was Lester, her daughter Brenda, and Alaina Reed Hall who played Rose Lee Holloway was her best friend. Before exiting, Goodwin was able to do a reprisal of the role in the “The Sing-Off” episode of season three.

Kia Goodwin was nowhere to be seen on television after she left 227 until 1993 when she rekindled her acting career. She first came on another of “ABC Afterschool Special” and then she appeared in the film, Strapped the same year.
The youngster played a major role in 1998 on the set of The Object of My Affection as Juliet. The movie entitled, The Opportunists cast her as a young nurse, she was in Ordinary Sinner and in 2002, joined the cast of New World Order.
