Instead, he explained that three seasons on The Challenge was enough for him and he’s proud of his achievements so far.
“I feel like three seasons was enough. I achieved what I wanted to do”Notwithstanding, many still believe he was not invited to the show following his last appearance, thus, it wasn’t his decision to be absent. One thing is for sure though, Rogan is not ruling out the possibility of a comeback entirely as he said he doesn’t mind returning to the show as his fans are weary to see him on their screens again.
Rogan rendered an apology for his use of the N-word in a tweet
It has been established that the internet doesn’t forget, Rogan O’Connor would know. A tweet he made a decade ago came back to haunt him in 2020. According to the reality star, he was quoting his favorite artist, Drake, when he mistakenly dropped the N-word. The tweet went unnoticed for a while but resurfaced in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement.
On the Challenge Mania podcast, Rogan rendered his sincerest apologies. Part of his statement as shared by US Magazine read;
“Ten years ago, [I was] quoting my favorite rapper Drake’s song, wrongfully using the N-word. At the same time, [I was] addressing how I shouldn’t have said it, saying that I accidentally said it aloud when I was singing along to my favorite rapper”The 35-year-old reality TV star reiterated that he is not in any way racist and his intention at the time was not directed at racism. He added that he has been a supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement and also made donations to the cause.
Now folks are saying this controversy might be the reason he didn’t come back to the next season of The Challenge after his last one. According to rumors, producers of The Challenge probably placed a ban on him in the meantime. Nevertheless, Rogan says this is far from the truth.
