Maria Evoli is a Mexican-born actress who is best recognized for the role she played on the set of the 2018 television series entitled The Romanoffs. Maria has been active on the acting scene since 2018 and has acted in some notable dramas alongside some A-list entertainers. Precisely on the 30th of January 2017, Maria Evoli’s romantic drama Strange But True, previously known as Extraño pero verdadero came to light. The drama chronicled the love life of Jonathan and his love interest Yesi, two garbage collectors who worked under the command of the violent and despotic Master Clean. Mum, a longtime collector always tags along ghostly and silently cleaning the streets of the city. The two lovers were on duty one night when they located the dead body of a man with money. A tragedy looms as Master Clean took a terrible decision and the lovebirds had to plan their escape.

Two of her projects were released in October, Libre de Culpa and The Inhabitants on the 7th. While Libre de Culpa (Evoli played Fabiola ) talks about 21-year-old Juan whose life was turned upside down following the diagnosis of his lung cancer by his doctor, The Inhabitants revolves around three sisters with the intention of stealing. The sisters target a senator whose house they enter to steal ill-gotten money from bribery. On gaining access to the house, the three conspirators begin to hear strange cries from the basement. In the drama, Evoli features as Maria.

Barely five months into the year, on the 9th of May 2018, her next drama The Eternal Feminine also called Los adioses was released. In the drama set in Mexico City during the early 1950s, an introverted university student Rosario Castellanos didn’t appear to fit into her time. Struggling to make her voice heard in a man’s world, Rosario is on the verge of emerging among the leading female writers in the field of Mexican literature. However, she gets engaged in a tumultuous romance with Ricardo Guerra which leads to the manifestation of her contradictions and fragility.

Maria Evoli’s best-known role was accomplished in 2018 on the set of The Romanoffs television series where the actress essayed the role of Lourdes Gonzalez. The same year, she appeared in Falco, a TV series as Inez and Dean Lewis: Be Alright as Girlfriend. Also in 2018, she played Ana Sofia in Here on Earth.

Maria appeared in five projects in 2019 which is recorded as her most productive year so far. The Mexican-born model cum actress joined the cast of the drama Do you know Thomas or ¿Conoces a Tomás? which has its release date recorded as the 26th of July 2019. There, Leo’s band invited Thomas to perform at a wedding without knowing how difficult it would be to spend time with an autistic person. She was next seen in Modern Love or Amores modernos which was first shown on the 11th of October 2019.

Two other projects were released in October, Private Property or Propiedad Privada on the 18th and Some Ruins or Unas Ruinas on the 19th. She acted as Elisa in Some Ruins which tells the tale of a couple, Ofelia and Carlos who stumbles upon a young mirror image of their former life as they take a road trip in a final attempt to get their marriage fixed. In Private Property, a couple of old friends Mariano and Ana played by Evoli cross paths after being separated for a long time without any form of communication. Maria Evoli was also part of the cast of Gloria in te Domine as the title character Gloria

Maria Evoli’s 2020 roles

In 2020, she appeared in three productions, namely All the Light We Can See, Sunstroke and Funeral. All the Light We Can See or Toda la luz que Podemos ver which has the release date recorded as 11th March 2020, chronicles the lives of Maria and Rosario. While Maria flees from her fate of going into a forced marriage with a bandit by eloping with El Toro, Rosario loves a murdered general in the army.

Sunstroke or Asoleadas was first viewed on the 28th of October, focusing on two neighbors who had a rough Sunday, there; Evoli played the role of Elena. She depicted the character of Laura in Funeral.
