Hannah Cheramy – born July 13, 2003, is 20 year old. Cheramy is a Canadian actress best known for the roles she has played in productions like The Hollow Child, From, Colossal, and Van Helsing.

Cheramy started acting at a tender age and presently, her acting credits in both the big and small screens have grown exponentially. The Vancouver native is a professional actress who studied acting at the university level where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. With her university education done and dusted, the youngster is set to take the movie world by storm.

Born on July 13, 2003, Hannah Cheramy is currently 20. Her birth occurred in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and she is a Canadian by nationality. Hannah’s ethnicity is White.

Cheramy is the daughter of Louis Cheramy and his wife, Terry Cheramy who raised her as their only child. The individual professions of Hannah’s parents are not known. Louis and Terry are both Christians and trained their child to follow the Christian faith. Both parents also throw their support behind the emerging actress, encouraging her to pursue her dreams of becoming a renowned entertainer. In fact, it was Terry who sent Hannah’s picture to a talent agent and that marked the beginning of her acting career. Hannah obviously shares a great bond with her parents, attributing all her successes to their unflinching support.

An animal lover, Hannah Cheramy keeps a dog called Roxy. She also has a horse named Lacey. The youngster often visits her aunt’s farm just to play with the animals.

She is already a university graduate

At age 20, Hannah Cheramy has already completed her university education. Though the name of the academic institution she attended is not known, she studied acting, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts. Before her enrolment into the university, the Canadian entertainer attended Burnaby North Secondary High School where she was an all-round creative – Hannah wrote poems, belonged to the school’s dance club, and sang in their music club.

Hannah Cheramy started acting as a child

Hannah Cheramy has always enjoyed performing since childhood and would normally perform for her family and close friends. By the time she clocked seven, the blossoming actress was featured in a few local children’s theatre productions as an actress. She got an agent at age 11 and started scoring gigs in TV commercials within a short while.

Hannah nabbed her debut role in the television movie, October Kiss where she breathed life into the character of Zoe Larson in 2019. In the Lynne Stopkewich-directed film, the upcoming star shared the screen with the likes of Ashley Williams, Sam Jaeger, Laura Mitchell, and others.

Her next onscreen role came on the set of another TV movie, My Sweet Audrina in 2016, essaying the role of the 11-year-old Vera. Hannah Cheramy was privileged to act alongside prominent entertainers like India Eisley, William Moseley, and James Tupper. The film was written by Virginia C. Andrews and Scarlett Lacey, and directed by Mike Rohi.

She played Addison Sulliway in the 2016 film, Summer Love, and before the year ran out, Hannah scored her big break, depicting the character of Young Gloria in the movie, Colossal.

The year 2016 also marked Cheramy’s debut in television series as that was when she started playing Dylan in Van Helsing and stayed with the cast for five long years till production wrapped up in 2021. The series contributed a great deal to her popularity.

In 2017, the Canadian actress appeared in two productions – Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library as Rose Vermette and The Hollow Child where she was featured as Olivia. The Holy Child remains one of her best-known movies to date.

One of the most movie sets Hannah graced was Under Wraps as Ghoul Girl in 2021, she is currently starring as Julie Matthews in the series From – a role that took off in 2022 and is continuing into 2023. Hannah Cheramy’s Julia role is proving to be the best we have seen from the Canadian actress so far.

Hannah has been named as a nominee for a few awards. Her 2015 Zoe Larson performance in October Kiss earned her both Joey Awards and Leo Awards nominations in the Outstanding Supporting Female category and Best Supporting Female in a TV Movie categories respectively.

Playing Olivia in The Hollow Child also earned Hannah a nomination for Best Supporting Female in a TV Movie at the Leo Awards in 2017. The 2018 Joey Awards marked Hannah Cheramy’s first award win. After being named a nominee for Outstanding Featured Performance in a Feature Film for playing Young Gloria in Colossal, the Canadian actress was declared the winner.

Her other award nominations include – Outstanding Lead Performance in a Featured Film for her role in October Kiss, Outstanding Performance by a Female in a Recurring Role for Van Helsing, and Outstanding Newcomer which she earned during the 2018 ACTRA Awards.
