Gina has been married once and is already divorced. She shares three children with her ex-husband, Matthew Kirschenheiter whom she divorced in 2018. The daughter of Gene Archer and Susan Archer, Gina only took on the last name Kirschenheiter after her marriage as the reality TV star was given the name, Gina Christine Archer at birth.

Gina is not her parent’s only child; she spent her early years alongside a brother named Chris Archer. Chris is currently a lawyer practicing in North Babylon.

Gina Kirschenheiter passed through North Babylon High School where she was a three-sport stand-out in soccer, volleyball, and basketball. Proceeding to Hofstra University, Long Island, New York, she opted to study Psychology, even though she wasn’t interested in forging a career path in the field.

Following that, she started working in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, for the Long Island-based Rallye Motors as an executive assistant. She later did some work with the Hofstra School of Medicine with the intention to go for a Master’s in health administration at the institution but her plans were shattered after she got pregnant.

Gina Kirschenheiter gained celebrity status after she scored some self-roles in reality television. The TV series, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen cast her in a self-role as a guest in nine episodes between 2018 to 2022.

Within the same period, Gina recorded appearances in 95 episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County in a self-role. Her latest self-role was seen in two episodes of Project Runway in 2022. She is currently working on her own skincare business, CaraGala with the support of her husband Travis.

According to the reality star, it was her friend Tamra Judge who recommended her to the Bravo network reality show’s producers. In July 2018, she joined the show during its 13th season after her family relocated to Orange County CA from Long Island, New York.

While Gina was still married when she joined the show, she became separated before it was released. Though her ex-husband didn’t appear on the show, Gina’s relationship with him became a regular topic on the latest season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

She continued living in New York while Matt live and worked in California after marriage and even had her first two kids in NY. In 2015, she eventually left NY for Orange County in California to be with her spouse.

She is a mother of three

A couple of years after their union, Gina and Matt welcomed the first child of their union, Nicholas Kirschenheiter on the 23rd of June 2012.
Nick soon became a big brother to Sienna Kirschenheiter, the couple’s only daughter who joined the family two years later in 2014. After the family moved to CA, Gina had her last child, a son called Luca Kirschenheiter who came in August 2015.

In July 2018, Gina Kirschenheiter announce her separation from her husband of eight years. They slit up as early as April but the official announcement took a couple of months coming. Though the reality TV star prides herself on being a private person, she has talked about her union with Matt in public on a few occasions.

When quizzed about what led to their separation, the mother of three cited physical abuse on the part of Matthew; Matt later corroborated this claim when he pleaded guilty to domestic violence in court.

Even though domestic violence was the strike that broke the camel’s back, Gina referred to their long-distance relationship as one of the remote reasons that led to their divorce. The mother of three said the time he spent working in CA while she stayed back in NY looking after the home front put a strain on the relationship. Besides, the strain increased after she became part of the cast of The Real Housewives franchise.

Apart from the faults, Gina Kirschenheiter also gave Matt kudos for his great role as a dad. She described him as a good provider and a hands-on dad who would always take their kids for outings.

Despite the fact that they are no longer together, Gina said she will always see Matt as a part of her family as he has remained a good friend.

After going steady for six months, Gina and Travis started co-habiting in February 2020, and they brought their six kids into the relationship – three from Gina and three from Mullen.

When she started living with her then-boyfriend, fans asked if Gina expressed curiosity about where her relationship with Mullen was heading. Gina addressed this in an interview session with People when the New Yorker said she is just living life and enjoying the perks of having a partner, Marriage does not really matter to me, she concluded.

However, the couple got married in December 2022 as revealed by Gina through an Instagram post. The Real Housewives star posted “Sooooo…. we’re married now,” with a picture and video of her blended family during the ceremony.
