She started her acting career in 1984 as part of the cast of the TV series, Ryan’s Hope where she depicted the character of Pru Shepherd. After appearing in the movies, Club Med as Simone LaFontanne and My Little Girl as Alice in 1986, she went on to record seven appearances the next year.

In 1987, she was featured in four TV series – Fame as Johana in one episode, 21 Jump Street as Nadia in one episode, one episode of CBS Schoolbreak Special as Susan Atherton, and one episode of Werewolf as Chrissy. Her three movie appearances for the year include Casanova where she depicted the character of Heidi, A Tiger’s Tale as Penny, and the music video, Lou Gramm: Midnight Blue as Woman.

Another seven acting roles came Traci Lind’s way in 1988. She was featured in single episodes of Ohara as Amy Allen and CBS Summer Playhouse as Sharon.
