On the other hand, Karim’s mom has been identified as Raissa Kamoun. Born in Moscow Russia, Raissa works with the Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Physical Education as a professor.

The details of Karim’s early academic journey have remained undisclosed but it is common knowledge that he is an alum of Lycee Sportif d’El Menzeh where he earned a Master’s in sports science.

He is a former fencer

Formerly a professional fencer, Karim was active in the sport from 2003 to 2011. While his fencing career lasted, the athlete represented Tunisia in several tournaments, including the Pan Arab games and the African Fencing Championship for Tunisia.

When he retired from active fencing, Karim Kamoun went to Qatar where he took up a good position as a fencing coach. He took a final bow from fencing in 2017 to become a fitness coach.

Jabeur who is the current world’s number two in tennis described the onset as very tough as she didn’t like receiving orders from her own husband. However, their working relationship got better as they later got used to the situation and according to the female tennis champion, they are doing great.
