Cornelia joined the cast of Serpico as Leslie in 1973 (this became her break-out role), and Crazy Joe in 1974, and before the year ran out, the American actress graced the set of two more movies, Busting as Jackie Faraday and Open Season as Nancy Stillman.

She announced herself to a wider audience by joining the cast of the 1975 film, The Reincarnation of Peter Proud as Nora Hayes and depicted the character of Nicole Scott on the set of The Next Man. She was the Linda Allen we saw in the TV movie, Cover Girl in 1977, Sharpe’s 80s roles started with S.H.E: Security Hazards Expert where she breathed life into the character of Lavinia Kean in 1980.

She essayed the role of Ruth Hopkins in Venom in 1981 and played Fan of Freddie in the movie Table One in 2000. Table One is listed among the actress’ most popular projects. The American entertainer was already gaining much public attention by the time she became part of The Adventures of Pluto Nash (2002) as Tony Francis Fan which earned her more fans.
