Uschi Digard is a former Swedish softcore porn star and model best recognized for the roles she played in different erotic and sexploitation productions, including Uschi’s Hollywood Adventure, Cherry, Harry & Raquel!, Supervixens, Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens, and many more. Digard has made several appearances in a good number of pornographic magazines but reports have it that she is presently retired from porn and living a fulfilled life as a married woman.

Uschi Digard is a Stockholm native

Uschi Digard was born on the 15th of August 1948, her place of birth is Saltsjö-Duvnäs – a little town within the outskirt of Stockholm, Sweden. This makes her a Swedish citizen and according to the former softcore porn star, she belongs to the Swedish/Swiss heritage. She never spoke about her family members for obvious reasons but Uschi said she passed through a boarding school run by nuns from a very young age as those were the best the country had to offer.

She described herself as being pretty promiscuous as a child, with books rather than men. Digard fell in love with books at age six and decided to study languages; she hated reading translated books as they lose their essence. By the time she was seven, the Swedish girl had read every single book in their local library. Today, Uschi is multi-lingual and has competence in eight languages of the world, including German, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, French, and English. Digard loved the outdoors which led her to learn to ski. She was naturally a lefthander.

The porn star left school at 16 to embark on voyages around the world – she went to France and Italy to boost her knowledge of the French and Italian languages. The upcoming nude model then went to the Channel Islands before landing in London to work for a big hotel. She seemed to be always on the move, traveling through Marrakesh to the Canary Islands; there, she scored a job at a jewelry firm that paid her on percentage. Summertime saw her traveling around, working in Jewelry shops in Switzerland and Sweden.

Acting

Before long, moviemaker, Russ Meyer started casting her in several of his softcore erotic films. Some of the movies she appeared in include, sexploitation films like Uschi’s Hollywood Adventure (also known as Raquel’s Motel, 1970), a low-budget production shot without sound but dubbed with a narrative voiceover.

Cherry, Harry & Raquel! happens to be one of Russ Meyer’s movies where she was cast in 1970 to provide the dénouement/ending in a concluding interpretive dance scene signifying the death of the movie’s antagonist. Other Meyer’s films like Supervixens (1975) had her on set. Uschi Digard was also part of the cast of Meyer’s Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens (1979.

In 1971, Ed Wood featured the porn star in his movie, The Only House In Town. The cult action-comedy entitled, Superchick cast her to breathe life into the character of Mayday in 1973 with Joyce Jillson in the starring role. The year 1974 was when she starred with actor, John Holmes in the movie, I Want You. In 1975, a cameo came her way to play a prisoner in Ilsa, She-Wolf of the SS (the film was a cult classic).

In the Richard Franklin-directed movie, Fantasm in 1976, Uschi was seen as ‘Super Girl. Sam Peckinpah directed the production, The Killer Elite in 1975 where the Swedish native came in as a girl at a party. She appeared in another cameo in 1976, Chesty Anderson U.S. Navy and as a character named, Pussy in the 1976 Female Chauvinists.

In 1977, The Kentucky Fried Movie by John Landis featured Uschi Digard in a cameo (naked in a shower) in one of its segments, “Catholic High School Girls in Trouble”.

In 1979, Zane Entertainment Group had her as part of the cast of the pornographic movie, John Holmes and The All-Star Sex Queens where she shared the screen with the likes of John Holmes, Serena, Johnny Keyes, Kitten Natividad, Candy Samples, and Kelly Stewart. It was around this period that she acted in a handful of “sexy wrestling” short-footage movies, majorly for Ron Dvorkin’s Bellstone and Triumph Studios.

She took a final bow from acting in 2001.

Modeling

With her stunning features, modeling was a fertile ground for Uschi Digard to thrive and she made the most of it. Many porn magazine issues have been dedicated to Uschi Digard and from the later part of the 1960s to the early part of the 1980s, the former nude model graced the spreads of several pornographic magazines, including Knight, Latent Image, Cinema X, and Gent. Digard is listed as one of the most famous big-bust models of her time.

Other Roles

Digard did not limit her exploits to just acting. The former porn star also worked in movie production, as the co-producer of the porn movie, Up! and Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens. This happens to be Meyers’ last movie. Pandora Peaks hired her as narrator for Tundi Horvath’s character.

Uschi Digard is currently enjoying married life

There is the possibility that Uschi Digard is now turning away from publicity since she retired from pornography but it was recently uncovered that she got married to a man whom she met in the Canary Islands. As of 2006, she is reported to be residing with her husband. The Swedish actress has a North Hollywood-based private pad where she goes to enjoy some peace and quiet.

It has not been confirmed if the former porn star has any children from her marriage yet. The identity and occupation of the man Uschi married are not yet established.
